Success, how?

For me there are 5 key aspects to any success whether it's business, health or relationships and it's really a road to self discovery. I used to read a lot of stories about 'secret to my success' and I thought all you needed was luck. That's not the case, well not for me. I consider myself very successful in all aspects of my life, what I found that got me there was a few simple rules and a lot of hard work.

Hard working:
This is the most important point, you must be hard working with an 'I CAN' attitude...
If you're busy like me, 4 kids and a business you'll just be more creative and adaptive to situations. There is no blame to be pointed... ever, or "it's their fault because..." all BS... do what it takes. If you have a strong mindset you'll never ever have these thoughts:
'It's too cold to exercise'
'I have bad genetics'
'Their better than me'
'I'm too busy, too much going on'
'It's to hard'
'It hurts too much'
'I'm too tired'
That's all BS... their just obstacles, if someone puts an obstacle in front of you... knock it down because, if it's important to you, you WILL find a way... period! If your mindset is strong, you'll always find a way and you'll always be an adaptive person with an 'I CAN' attitude. Sometimes you'll need to get up an hour early to exercise... then do it. There is always a way.

Self belief:
If you simply think you 'might' get there, you probably won't you'll simply give up... something will pop up, something will happen to obscure you. You need to believe in yourself. You need a strong mindset, adopt the mindset that you can... never cannot.

Motivation:
Sometimes you lose sight, sometimes you need a little push. If you're lucky enough to have a support network of friends and like minded people that's fantastic. If you haven't then be sure to have lots of motivation surrounding you. I personally have collections of quotes and motivational videos I've found on the Internet  Set small goals as their much easier to reach... from little beginnings big things grow!

Knowledge is power: Ask questions constantly, research as much as you can. Never be afraid to ask and if told no, move on to the next person... someone will answer your question eventually. It's happened to me many times but I kept asking.

Be patient: Have plenty of them, anything worthwhile takes time. It's been a long 7 years for me personally and I've grown very strong and committed in the interim.

To expand this a little further... as humans, most of as are bound to routine, just make it routine and being  patient will follow. This is especially true with diet and exercise, make it routine and it becomes easy.

So, if you couple hard work, self belief and motivate yourself constantly and have the knowledge and patients, success is there for you. No excuses... because excuses, no matter where or how their formed will destroy your dreams! Do something now that your future self will thank you for.
